FAQs

Q1. How can I enter my addresses into AT&T Navigator online using my computer?
A1: Simply go to www.att.com/navigator and click the Enter Address Now link. Log in using your phone number and PIN. Click the Add Address to Phone button and enter the address. Then on your phone click Drive To, My Favorites, and Refresh Favorites to have the address saved on your phone.



Q2: How do I get my PIN for the website?
A2: Go to www.att.com/navigator and click the Enter Address Now link. Click "Need Your PIN?" Enter your mobile phone number and your PIN will be sent to you by SMS message to your phone or by email. You should receive your PIN in just a couple of minutes. Then you can go back to the website to log in.



Q3: How can I see driving directions and a map for an upcoming trip?
A3: You can also use the website to get driving directions and see your route on a map. From your Favorites or Recent Addresses list, click on an address, then select Driving Directions. By selecting an approximate starting point and your destination, you will be able to see what your trip will look like and how long it will take you to arrive.



Q4: How can I get driving directions to other places?
A4: Simply log in and click the Driving Directions portion of "Maps & More". Next, enter an origin and a destination.



Q5: How do I delete Recent Addresses or Favorites?
A5: Each address in the Recent Addresses and Favorites lists has a checkbox at its left side. To delete an address, simply check the box and click the "Delete" button at the bottom.



Q6: How do I find nearby businesses and save them to my phone?
A6: The website also has a Business Finder Directory in it. Under Maps and More, click "Biz Finder," then enter a business type or name, and a search point. You can also save the business address to your phone by clicking on the location and then Add to My Phone.



Q7: How do I find businesses near one of my stops?
A7: From your Favorites or Recent Addresses list, click on an address, then select Business Finder.



Q8: I don't see a newly added address on my phone yet. What do I do?
A8: When you are in your Recent Addresses or Favorites list on your phone, select "Refresh List" to synchronize or save any newly added addresses to your phone.



Q9: How do I change my email or home/work addresses?
A9: Click on "Profile" to view your profile, then "Edit" to make changes.



Q10: How do I change my account PIN?
A10: Click on the "Change PIN" link under the Profile heading. You will be asked both for your old PIN as well as your new one.



Q11: What web browsers support the AT&T Navigation Preplan site?
A11: Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 1.5+ and Safari 2+.
